Product Name: Floor Stable Paint (Dust-Proof & Hardening Primer)
Product Overview:
Floor Stable Paint is a high-performance, water-based acrylic copolymer emulsion specifically engineered to seal, harden, and dust-proof porous concrete subfloors. It penetrates deeply to create a solid, monolithic surface, preventing future dusting and providing a superior base for floor toppings, self-leveling underlayments, epoxy coatings, and adhesives.
Key Features & Benefits:
Superior Dust Control: Effectively binds loose sand and dust particles on concrete floors, eliminating a common source of contamination and failure in floor installations.
Surface Hardening: Significantly increases the surface strength and abrasion resistance of weak or powdery concrete substrates.
Enhanced Adhesion: Creates a strong bonding bridge between the subfloor and subsequent materials like leveling compounds, tile adhesives, and floor coatings, preventing delamination.
Excellent Penetration: Its low-viscosity formula allows for deep penetration into the substrate, ensuring consolidation from within, not just on the surface.
Color Indicator: The distinct Yellow or Green tint provides a clear visual guide during application, guaranteeing uniform coverage and preventing missed spots.
User-Friendly & Eco-Friendly: Water-based formula ensures low odor, easy cleanup with water, and a safer environment for applicators.
Specifications:
Type: Water-based Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion
Packaging: Available in 10 kg and 20 kg sealed pails.
Colors: Yellow or Green (Tinted for easy application control)
Drying Time: Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Allow to cure completely for 2-4 hours before applying subsequent materials under normal conditions (25°C, 50% humidity).
Application Instructions:
Surface Preparation: The floor must be thoroughly clean, solid, and free of oil, grease, wax, and any loose debris. Vacuuming is highly recommended.
Dilution (First Coat): For initial sealing of highly porous surfaces, dilute with 20-30% clean water. Mix thoroughly until uniform.
Application: Apply evenly using a medium-nap roller, a brush for edges, or a sprayer. Avoid puddling. Ensure the primer fully saturates the surface.
Dilution (Second Coat): If a second coat is needed for extremely porous surfaces, it can be applied undiluted or with a minimal amount of water after the first coat is touch dry.
Curing: Allow the primer to dry completely until it forms a transparent, hardened film before proceeding with the installation of flooring materials (e.g., pouring self-leveler, applying adhesive).
Ideal For Use On:
New and old concrete slabs
Cement sand screeds
Industrial warehouse floors prior to coating
Residential subfloors before installing flooring
Renovation projects to stabilize existing floors
Disclaimer:
Store in a cool, frost-free place. Keep the lid tightly sealed when not in use.
Do not apply on frozen or damp surfaces.
For optimal results, apply at ambient and substrate temperatures between 5°C and 35°C.
Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to use and wear appropriate protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses).
